Mindful Counseling PLLC is a mental health group practice located in Asheville, North Carolina. We are a hybrid practice, offering in-person sessions locally and telehealth across all of North Carolina.
Our clients often find us feeling overwhelmed by life, sometimes feeling stuck, afraid, overloaded, or unsure how to establish balance and safety. Often individuals feel tired and alone coming into therapy without a sense of what specifically to do next. Our work together can help you find a sense of calm and restore your sense of well-being.
Our team is skilled in using a number of clinical modalities paired with mindfulness to help our clients address anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, and identity issues. All of our clinicians incorporate mindfulness intp our work with clients. Each has a relationship to mindfulness and meditation practices, drawing value from and embracing each of these areas of self-development and growth.
Mindful Counseling PLLC is a telehealth based group practice based in Asheville, North Carolina. We provide therapy to individuals across all of North Carolina.
All of us have a background and relationship with mindfulness practices in addressing our own healing processes. Many of our clients experience anxiety, depression, have experienced trauma or struggle with substance use, or are seeking to work through difficult periods of transitions.
Mindful Counseling PLLC is currently an in-network provider with several insurance companies. Many of our providers can also provide out-of-network billing. Please contact us to inquire about possible reduced rate or sliding scale offerings if you are without insurance.
Adjustment difficulties & disorders - Support around adapting to new and/or challenging life circumstances; skill-building for improved stress management and reduction of anxiety.
Anxiety - Coping with excessive worry, nervousness, or stress; intense discomfort in social settings (social anxiety); sudden and intense feelings of panic (panic disorder)
Life transitions - Coping with difficult or impactful life changes, such as moving to a new area, relationship transitions, child rearing, or career changes; learning self-care to better manage resulting stress
Existential crisis & challenges - Supportive exploration of meaning and purpose in one’s life; finding one’s path in the face of existential anxiety, dread, and feelings of meaninglessness
Trauma - Coping and healing after threatening or scary events, such as witnessing accidents or experiencing sexual, verbal, emotional, or physical abuse
Depression - Providing support and promoting healing of hopelessness, low motivation and energy, sadness, irritability, sleep disturbance, and loss of interest and pleasure in life
