Parent Wellness Group was founded by Sarah Harmon, licensed mental health therapist and founder of The School of MOM. She acknowledged in her experience as a mom, who works with moms, that there were so many woman who struggled to ask for and find support during their perinatal journey since navigating finding a therapist can be so challenging! She also heard so many clients talk about how they worked with therapists who weren't parents, and they ultimately craved having a provider who they didn't need to explain certain parts of their experience to. It is for this reason that all of the PWG clinicians are experienced mental health clinicians, and ALSO parents. These are clinicians Sarah would see herself or refer her best friend to and she hopes you don't hesitate to reach out to see if one of our clinicians is a good fit for YOU.
Parent Wellness Group is currently private pay and not in network with any insurance. We are VERY aware that cost can be a huge barrier to care and thus, we have recently added a sliding scale program, as well as a group therapy option. If cost is a barrier for you, please don't hesitate to reach out to our client care coordinator to discuss your options.
