Rising Sun Therapy, LLC is a group practice focused on supporting teens and women to live healthy and fulfilling lives. When you come here you leave feeling hopeful, seen, and valued. We use very individualized approaches based in learning about your experiences, your strengths, and incorporating new strategies to manage the stressors and anxieties you face day to day. We explore new beliefs that create opportunities for growth and teach you the skills needed to find the balance in life you desire. At Rising Sun Therapy we provide a safe space to allow you to uncover ideas and goals and will help create a plan to achieve those goals within your stated values.

We focus on teens ages 11-17 who may have had a traumatic experience and need someone to share their fears with. We are here for you. We also focus on women 18 and older who are in various transitions such as graduating college, starting a family, managing their career and ultimately finding their identity and exploring their own needs. We also focus on general anxiety, depression, ADHD, and postpartum depression/anxiety. Here we focus on the whole person and may collaborate closely with other family members, doctors, or other healing practitioners.

About

What services does your practice offer?

Rising Sun Therapy focuses on the whole person with a mind-body approach and we may refer to yoga and nutrition services that are also located in our Harleysville office. Individual healing is enhanced when incorporating alternative body-focused approaches as well as healthy eating habits. We work closely with our yoga instructor and nutritionist to provide complete care of each person.

What are your practice's specialties?

Rising Sun Therapy focuses on teens and women 18+ struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, and ADHD. We also support women with anxiety and depression within the perinatal period and postpartum struggles. We are also able to offer counseling from a Christian perspective if desired within your treatment. By focusing on the individual needs of each client we can tailor treatment that is most beneficial to you.

Why should I choose your practice?

Rising Sun Therapy has a clinician who is trauma certified to provide the best care for teens and women who have experienced past or current traumatic situations. We also have a clinician who is certified in Perinatal Mental Health for the care of the postpartum period with anxiety and/or depression.

How does payment work at your practice?

We accept insurance with Blue Cross Blue Shield and United Healthcare/Optum and Aetna. If we are not in network with your insurance, our private pay option is $125 per session and we can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.
