Dr. Melinda Hansen is a Psychiatrist in AZ, FL & NJ providing the services through telehealth.
With a strong desire to experience a wide breadth of psychiatric specialties, I opted to pursue residency through the University of Florida which had fellowship opportunities in geriatric, child/adolescent, forensic, and addiction psychiatry as well as pain management. This program allowed me to work closely with experts in these fields as well as participate in a Community Psychiatry Fellowship serving the severely mentally ill with close collaboration with their primary care providers. This led me to practice both telepsychiatry and integrated care models in Alaska for the Alaskan Natives as a traveling doctor upon graduation.
