Dr. Sharon Batista is a Psychiatrist whose practice is located in Manhattan's Upper East Side neighborhood, and open to clients across the state of New York via teletherapy (also accepting patients for teletherapy in California, Florida, and Ohio).
She specializes in working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, and stress. Dr. Batista also welcomes individuals who are overcoming eating disorders and OCD, and additionally, is board-certified in treatment for addiction.
Dr. Batista values the therapeutic relationship and prioritizes remaining up-to-date in the best, most suitable practices for evidence-based treatments such as psychopharmacology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
While Dr. Batista is licensed to prescribe medications, she understands that every client has individual needs and preferences. She is able to provide both medication management and talk therapy, and she is also open to helping clients explore their alternative treatment options. Additionally, Dr. Batista offers psychiatric consultation for new clients.
