Professional statement

Akira Drummonds is an African American female that’s achieved her status as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor with Supervision designation (LPCC-S). She was born and raised in the Cincinnati, Ohio tristate area where she founded her private practice, Premier Transformation Counseling and Consulting Services (PTCC). At PTCC, we work with average on-the-go busybody who has let self-care and personal healing/ growth fall to bottom of their priority list. Many of PTCC’s clients come in when overwhelmed with stress for the daily grind, depressed from lack of self-care, or haunted by unaddressed traumas that just won’t die at the back of their closet. PTCC is particularly passionate about being inclusive and ensuring everyone has a sit at our table. We welcome diversity when serving late teens (17+) well into adulthood towards end-of-life. They also have advanced training around anxiety, depressive or mood disorders and traumas.

Akira’s style is to partner with the client to develop the needed tools and techniques to transition the client from merely surviving to thriving. She often utilizes her therapy dog, Beau, to provide extra comfort as you work through difficult struggles and experiences that have left you feeling stuck in the past or fearful of the future.
