Alison helps young adults in their 20s and 30s navigate difficult emotions and life transitions. She specializes in anxiety, depression, and borderline personality disorder. Her ultimate goal as your therapist is to remind you of your inner resilience, prep you with effective tools and coping skills, and empower you to feel more at peace with the inevitable ebbs and flows of life.
Alison takes a holistic approach to therapy, meaning she considers all aspects of your well-being: mind, body, and spirit. She uses the evidence-based therapies cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT). Additionally, Alison is a certified yoga teacher and enjoys using mindfulness exercises to help her clients cultivate more presence and clarity. She's very down-to-earth and will never tell you what to do; rather, she gets very curious and asks lots of questions to better understand YOUR truth and what you ultimately want for your future.
Alison offers virtual (video) sessions and can accommodate weekly or biweekly sessions, depending on your needs and what works best for your schedule. If you think Alison may be a good fit for your therapy goals, please feel free to contact her to schedule a free phone consultation!
