Alison helps young adults in their 20s and 30s navigate difficult emotions and life transitions, and specializes in anxiety and panic disorder. Her ultimate goal as your therapist is to reflect your inner resilience and wisdom, equip you with effective tools and coping skills, and empower you to feel more at peace with the inevitable ebbs and flows of life.
Alison takes a holistic approach to therapy, meaning she considers all aspects of your well-being: mind, body, and spirit. She uses dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), and mindfulness techniques, as these have all been proven to be effective in treating anxiety and panic disorder. She also enjoys using elements of internal family systems (IFS) as this helps to gain a deeper understanding of yourself and why you feel the way you do, as well as foster self-compassion. She's very down-to-earth and will never tell you what to do; rather, she gets very curious and asks lots of questions to better understand YOUR truth and what you ultimately want for your future.
Alison offers virtual (video) sessions and can accommodate weekly or biweekly sessions, depending on your needs and what works best for your schedule. If you think Alison may be a good fit for your therapy goals, please feel free to contact her to schedule a free phone consultation!
