Alison works with clients in their 20s and 30s navigating anxiety, vulnerability, dating culture, social media, and the transition from college into the working world. She is passionate about helping millennials to explore their pasts and reach greater understanding of themselves, their relationships, and the world around them.

Alison’s approach is integrative and collaborative, utilizing principles from internal family systems, mindfulness practices, somatic intervention, and supportive therapy. With advanced certification in trauma studies and nutrition, she adopts a holistic philosophy incorporating elements of nutrition, diet, and sleep to ensure optimal mental and physical well-being. Alison also offers Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy to help clients unlock difficult past experiences that remain trapped in the body, in order to move more fully into the present.

Through the use of holistic, integrative techniques, I will assist you in managing anxiety, navigating life transitions, and developing meaningful relationships. Together, we will explore barriers keeping you feeling stuck so that you can lead a fulfilling, rewarding life.


Anxiety - Generalized anxiety, social anxiety, panic attacks

Relationships - Feeling unsatisfied in your partnership; communication challenges; addressing issues of power and voice; contemplation of separation; questioning one’s place in the relationship; breakups, friendships, dating

Holistic health and wellness - Optimizing wellness from a body, mind, and spiritual aspect

Life transitions - Adjusting to college, new relationships, career transitions and direction; mid-life existential, relationship, and career challenges; losing one’s drive or burn out; learning self-care

Trauma - Including dealing with past sexual assault, childhood trauma, environmental trauma (e.g. witnessing/experiencing violence), PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder)

Depression - Sleep and energy disruption, overall mood disturbance, inability to enjoy yourself, and difficulty being motivated, amongst many other symptoms
