Professional statement

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Certified EMDR therapist practicing in Millburn, New Jersey, offering both in-person and virtual therapy for adults and older adults. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and bereavement, low self-esteem, relationship issues, women’s issues, and life transitions such as retirement, career changes, parenting, and marriage.

With over 30 years of clinical experience, I provide an integrative, trauma-informed approach tailored to each client’s needs. I draw from Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic and insight-oriented therapy, interpersonal therapy, and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT/tapping). This allows me to support clients in reducing symptoms, improving emotional regulation, and working through both current stressors and long-standing patterns.

My work is grounded in creating a strong therapeutic relationship and helping clients build insight, resilience, and meaningful change.

Message to clients

Reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step, especially when you are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, depressed, or emotionally stuck. You may be struggling with life transitions, grief, relationship challenges, or patterns that feel hard to change on your own.

In our work together, I provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can feel safe, heard, and understood. Therapy is a collaborative process, and we will move at a pace that feels right for you.

My goal is to help you feel more grounded, gain clarity, and develop effective tools to manage emotions, reduce distress, and improve your overall sense of well-being. Whether you are working through something recent or long-standing, you don’t have to navigate it alone.

If you feel we may be a good fit, I welcome you to reach out for a consultation.
