Licensed Mental Health Counselor, LMHC Specialties • Insurance & Fees • LocationsBrittany is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, licensed in both Rhode Island and Massachusetts, with a Clinical Psychology Degree obtained from University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth in 2014. While in graduate school, Brittany started her career working with children at Bradley Hospital on the inpatient unit. Once graduated, Brittany continued to work in the emergency service field in both outpatient and inpatient settings, working with individuals across of all ages. However, Brittany’s passion has always been working with teens, young adults, and adults and being able to make a positive impact to enhance a healthy mind and lifestyle. Brittany has experience conducting crisis evaluations, one-on-one therapy sessions, and running psycho-educational therapy groups. Brittany implements a strength-based approach when working with clients and pulls skills and tools primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, movement therapy and Person Centered Therapy. Brittany is passionate about helping clients find their voice and empower them to foster personal growth and change to succeed toward their future goals.
