For over one decade Ms. Jones has practiced been trained, certified, and now has attained consultant status as an EMDR Therapist. Wholistic in approach, Ms. Jones sees healing as an outgrowth of achieving balance through healthy lifestyle changes combined with clinical modalities including mindfulness, therapeutic writing, breath-work.

Client centered, Ms. Jones engages clients through active listening, and is well-known for being responsive, present, articulate, easy going, energetic, and optimistic. Candida's practice combines evidence based techniques for trauma, anxiety, grief, loss, and depression. Candida works in collaboration with her clients placing emphasis on what makes them feel best.

Returning to her Native New York, Candida brings back to the east coast wisdom that her decades in New Mexico have afforded her. She too derived insight from working with indigenous cultures both in Northern New Mexico and Peru. Ms. Jones has a certification in Eco-therapy.

Candida is available for EMDR therapy exclusively online as the latest protocols can best be achieved through the latest online platforms not achievable in person.

For clients wishing to engage in Eco-therapy, outdoor walking sessions are available t in New York's Hudson River Valley only.

Message to clients

I work holistically, that being said I focus on what you ingest through your senses and digestive tracts and lungs. I will address the three cornerstone areas of your self-care: Emotional, Physical, Spiritual.

I will encourage you to self reflect on what exercise you are including in your life? What quality and type of relationships do you have, what are you eating, listening to, reading, in short what are you ingesting? What is your mind telling you? What are you telling others? How do you communicate internally and externally.

I have lived and worked and lived with many indigenous populations both in New Mexico and in Peru and offer insights gathered from societies held together through reciprocal relationships and coordination of efforts. These cultures adhere to a strict adherence to and appreciation of the web of life and the kinship relationships so necessary to providing the balance that a healthy life and society require. I am an active yoga practition, meditate, hike and walk daily. I actively look to nature and the world as a source of daily inspiration.

For clients interested in seeing people in person for ecotherapy walk and talk sessions in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., I invite people to join me and my therapy dog Zoe, ( a British yellow lab) are eager to have you join us as we walk over the Hudson River or ascend up area trails.
