Hello! I’m Danielle and I practice in Northern Rhode Island. My pronouns are she/her/hers. I am a feminist, an optimist and of course, a therapist. I would descrbe myself as adaptable, compassionate, empathetic, friendly, funny, gentle, passionate, patient and reliable. I pride myself on building a healthy and trusting relationship with my clients where they feel comfortable being their true selves and working through anything they may be struggling with. I genuinely want you to look forward to therapy, even when it’s uncomfortable.
I’ve been working in the fields of mental health and substance abuse treatment for almost 10 years. I've worked in a variety of treatment settings with a variety of clients ranging from children to elderly, but I most enjoy working with teens and young adults. I also enjoy working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community, offering gender affirming and sex positive care.
My therapeutic style is casual, warm & interactive. I embrace an eclectic style and draw from the person-centered approach. I strive to meet clients "where they are" and do my best to tailor treatment to my client’s wants and needs.
I am confident that you are an expert on your own life and I am just here to help you navigate the difficulties and ‘untangle’ things, if you will. It takes a lot of courage to decide to begin therapy and I am happy to hear from you! Please feel free to reach out!
