Accountability is crucial to me—we'll discuss what's going well and what isn't. At NOCD, my team and I specialize in providing evidence-based treatment for OCD. Our deep understanding of its nuances enables us to properly diagnose and treat it. We have received intensive training in Exposure Response and Prevention Therapy (ERP)—the gold standard treatment for OCD.
When you start with NOCD, you’ll either work with me or be paired with one of my colleagues, based on your preferences. We’ll get to know you and create a personalized treatment plan to help you achieve your goals. Plus, we offer support between sessions through direct messaging and a community of peers with OCD, ensuring you never feel alone.
Know that I have a lot of experience, and there's little you can say that will surprise me. Intrusive thoughts are distressing, but they are not a character flaw. I won’t judge you or think you're bad. I recognize that OCD has gotten out of control and is dominating your life. I have a lot of compassion and empathy, and I want to help you feel better.
