Coming from a multicultural background where mental health was and continues to be heavily stigmatized, I quickly became committed to bringing awareness of mental health to as many individuals as possible. I believe that having a reliable and encouraging environment to process daily ups and downs as well as drastic life changes can make a significant and positive difference in our lives. Therapy can at first be a scary place to start, but through my conversational approach, I hope that therapy can become a space of relief, growth, and healing.
I believe that each individual knows themselves the best, and therefore I aim to act as a mentor, teacher, and guidance role in my sessions. In my sessions, I strive to be the bridge between understanding the connection between our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and how they impact our daily behaviors.
My focus is to help each individual reach their greatest potential through empathy, reflection, and guidance.
