Professional statement

Dr. Emma Levine is a clinical psychologist and mom of two. She is the Director of Perennial Wellness, a speciality group practice that provides in-person and telehealth support for women throughout Connecticut, New York, and New Jersey. Dr. Levine and her team of clinicians help women, parents and families navigate life transitions, relationship and parenting stress, and career concerns, as well as the mood and anxiety disorders that often occur in this context.

Uniquely, Dr. Levine and her team have advanced training in the diagnosis and treatment of Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs) and they specialize in supporting hopeful, expectant and seasoned mothers and families navigate this joyful, but often overwhelming, time in their lives.

Dr. Levine's approach is warm, holistic and relational. At the same time, she is direct and goal-directed, focused on helping you cultivate tangible skills and strategies to feel mood relief in this moment, and for the long-term.

Message to clients

Our team at Perennial Wellness has extensive training in how to effectively integrate evidence-based practices with the latest research regarding the biological, neurological, and hormonal changes unique to women.

As such, we are able to provide clients with education on the neurobiological basis of their distress, as well tangible tools and techniques to help them feel relief. Our approach is holistic, and when appropriate, we provide referrals to psychiatrists, acupuncture, yoga and mindfulness classes.

We believe psychological treatment, in combination with holistic modalities, may provide the best outcomes for women.
