Professional statement

Eric is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Los Angeles, California. He works with individuals via telehealth video and phone sessions. Many of Eric’s clients seek help when struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, or relationship issues.

Eric is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). This approach uses eye movement stimulation to reduce the intensity of difficult memories. Clients often report better physical and emotional functioning after experience with EMDR.

Eric also utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which uses thought restructuring, behavioral activation, and skill building so that you think and feel better. In session, Eric focuses on how thoughts, feelings, and behavior influence each other. This approach supports clients to view themselves and their relationships in fresh ways.

Eric’s style is client- and solutions- oriented. When a client first logs on, the focus will be on clients’ goals, strengths, and worldview . Eric is dedicated to providing a relationship that is safe and understanding.

Eric received his Master in Social Welfare at the UCLA and Bachelors of Arts in Sociology at Boston College. He currently holds a License in Clinical Social Work in the State of California with the Board of Behavioral Sciences. Outside of his professional practice, he enjoys playing basketball, reading, and spending time with his wife and daughter.

Message to clients

I am a licensed clinical social worker with 8 years of working with individuals and families. Finding a good therapist can be challenging, so I offer free consultations to make the process stress-free and relaxed. When life gets too overwhelming we can experience depression and anxiety. Together we'll explore your thoughts, emotions, and relationships. What is most important in therapy is that you have a place to share who you are.

I have experience helping teens and parents with self-esteem, motivation, anxiety, depression, trauma, and family conflict. Much of my expertise comes from working with families to ensure that their teens are successful in academics and relationships. I also provide therapy to individual adults of various backgrounds.

All clients deserve a therapist that shows empathy and acceptance. I look forward to working with you!
