Felicia Ivey-Toure is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with office in the Kew Gardens Queens. She is the owner of a group practice and they work with many clients with a history of family concerns, relationship challenges, mood disorders, trauma, substance abuse and work related concerns. Felicia and several of her team have specific training in working with clients who have experienced trauma as members of the military, police officers, or firefighters, but she also supports clients who have trauma regarding sexual abuse/assault and domestic violence.
Felicia takes a person-centered and eclectic approach to treatment, including solution-focused and skills-based approaches. Her treatment modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), Family Systems, and Prolonged Exposure Therapy. Felicia spends time getting to know her clients and identifying their most pressing issues, so she can work with them to reduce their distress and improve their symptoms.
