Message to clients

Building a trusting relationship is the foundation of successful therapy. Regardless of the approach taken, the most important factors in therapy are safety, empathy and connection. I am an integrative therapist taking a developmental approach to understanding current difficulties while emphasizing concrete, practical steps that patients can take while building a greater awareness of their emotional worlds.

Anxiety - Coping with excessive worry, nervousness, or stress; intense discomfort in social settings (social anxiety); sudden and intense feelings of panic (panic disorder)

Depression - Providing support and promoting healing through hopelessness, low motivation and energy, sadness, irritability, sleep disturbance, and loss of interest and pleasure in life

Eating disorders - Reducing unhealthy eating patterns, beliefs, and behaviors, such as restricting, purging, and binging; healing the emotional pain surrounding disordered eating

Adolescent counseling - Working with adolescents, teenagers, and parents on anxiety related to family conflicts, peer relationships, and school stress

Perinatal mental health - Addressing issues specific to women and families during the pregnancy and postpartum period, including postpartum depression and anxiety

Reproductive counseling - Understanding infertility interventions and solutions; support during decision-making processes; coping with fertility problems and pregnancy loss

Family conflicts - Promoting communication and supporting family members to address challenges and reduce conflict and distress
