Dr. Jeffrey Mann is a Clinical Psychologist who offers teletherapy to individuals living in VA, MD, CA, and Washington, D.C. and specializes in anxiety, trauma, including sexual assault and PTSD, and OCD. He also has extensive training and experience in treating chronic insomnia, especially when there is co-occurring depression, anxiety, or PTSD. He is a good fit for adults who have tried talk therapy in the past but are not seeing any results and/or are ready to address their issue(s) and make changes.
When working with new clients, Dr. Mann starts with psychoeducation and discovering their history and goals. He then utilizes evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Prolonged Exposure, to help his clients develop new coping tools and make behavioral changes.
Dr. Mann has extensive training from leading experts in the treatment of anxiety, trauma, insomnia, and cognitive-behavioral interventions. He is considered an expert therapist and frequently provides consultation and supervision to other psychologists. Outside of private practice, he spends time at the Naval Hospital in San Diego training faculty and teaching trauma and skills-based classes to psychiatrists. He looks forward to meeting you.
