Jenni has worked as a Dietitian in Inpatient and Outpatient settings as well as a Social Worker at all levels of care. Individual therapy is where Jenni has been able to integrate these skills to best serve her clients.
Jenni is passionate about supporting individuals in life transitions, who feel overwhelmed and alone. Life is full of change including leaving home and going to college, starting a family and the postpartum experience and navigating our ever changing bodies. She helps clients realize they do not need to be fixed and to find more ease and regulation in their bodies.
Her approach is integrative and rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Polyvagal Theory. Jenni's goal is to teach clients to listen and work with their bodies instead of fight against and fix them. Her clients learn how to use their nervous system to support themselves and to find joy and connection.
Jenni aims to provide a safe, open and curious space for her clients to share and learn about themselves. It is important that her clients leave feeling that they have gained a new insight or skill each session they can take with them and apply in their lives. Jenni offers the flexibility and convenience of remote therapy sessions and sees individuals in person at her Pittsburgh office.
