John utilizes a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and Interpersonal and Psychodynamic Psychotherapies to focus on decreasing a client’s symptoms while addressing the underlying core issues that may be driving them, so they are less likely to return. He also works with individuals to help them better understand their relationships with others and how these navigate these relationships.
John has over 20 years of full-time clinical experience in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings and is passionate about the work he does. His sessions are filled with compassion, warmth, and understanding to make clients feel comfortable expressing their most vulnerable thoughts. He looks forward to meeting you.

Depression - Providing support and promoting healing of hopelessness, low motivation and energy, sadness, irritability, sleep disturbance, and loss of interest and pleasure in life
Group therapy - Healing, processing, and skill-building in a supportive small group environment
Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) - Healing painful experiences and memories from the past
Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) - Reducing unwanted intrusive thoughts and rituals by gradually building comfort and confidence facing difficult fears, thoughts, and emotions
