Professional statement

John Jauch is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with offices in Downers Grove and Chicago, IL. He specializes in the treatment of anxiety disorders, depression and compulsive behaviors (addictions), including OCD. He sees children, teens, families, parents, and adults across the lifespan.

John utilizes a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and Interpersonal and Psychodynamic Psychotherapies to focus on decreasing a client’s symptoms while addressing the underlying core issues that may be driving them, so they are less likely to return. He also works with individuals to help them better understand their relationships with others and how these navigate these relationships.

John has over 20 years of full-time clinical experience in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings and is passionate about the work he does. His sessions are filled with compassion, warmth, and understanding to make clients feel comfortable expressing their most vulnerable thoughts. He looks forward to meeting you.
