Professional statement

Jordan is a licensed social worker providing teletherapy to folks in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and California. She is certified as a perinatal mental health provider through Postpartum Support International, and specializes in working with people that are pregnant, trying to get pregnant, or are postpartum. She supports birthing people in finding validation during a time that can feel lonely and overwhelming.

Jordan focuses on the client and their unique needs. She normalizes the chaos of being a parent, and supports people in finding moments for breath and respite when it doesn't seem possible. She supports her clients in finding their strengths and resilience as parents. Being a parent can leave anyone feeling depleted and inadequate, Jordan will support clients in feeling like enough, and confidence to handle the hard stuff.

All sessions with Jordan are provided remotely via teletherapy. She is available Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays in the mornings and afternoons eastern time. Reach out for a 15 minute free consultation call.

Message to clients

Hi! I’m Jordan, and I’m in this work because I’ve been there. I read so many books and felt so prepared for motherhood, and then was smacked in the face when it didn’t go as expected. I quickly learned I needed outside support. The feelings I experienced fueled my desire to support others feeling similar to me.

I am warm, compassionate, and I’m a damn good listener. If I have questions or thoughts, I will share them with you. I will validate you and encourage you. Every person experiences postpartum differently, I will never assume you have the same experience as myself or someone else.

I love to laugh and I swear often…When you are in session you’re going to get the real me. I’ve tried to harness my sporadic profanity, and I just can’t. We will laugh together- buried in the hard moments of parenthood there are some pretty funny situations, I want to hear them!

What’s really important to know is that I love working with new parents, parents that are struggling with what they’re feeling and are damn sure it’s time for a change. Being a new parent is hard, really, really hard. New parents are often as real as it gets, and they have no more energy for hiding or pretending everything is ok. I’m ready to get real with you and ready to provide you with the support you need.
