Professional statement

I take an evidence-based, client centered approach to healing, drawing upon therapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and EMDR. I believe in working collaboratively with clients in order to develop an approach that best suites them, however that approach may end up looking like in the end. I also believe that although therapists can be a central figure in facilitating healing with a client, they can also at times unintentionally cause harm in dime way. As a result, I approach healing as something I cannot do without client feedback, and I aim grow from whatever feedback I receive from clients.

Message to clients

Working with me, you can expect someone who makes you feel listened to and validated. I aim to make therapy a process that is highly collaborative in nature and client-focused; I do not practice under the assumption that there is one right approach to therapy, but rather each client will require something that uniquely speaks to them and their experiences and needs.
