Licensed Professional Counselor, LPCMany of my clients live with chronic pain, trauma, and stress. The want to strengthen relationships and develop new ones. I work with adolescents, emerging adults, and young adults with chronic stress, trauma, and creative struggles.
As an art therapist, I see my role as one point in a three-way conversation with the client, artwork, and themselves.
I see art therapy as a way to support clients when verbal processing is difficult or impossible. Clients describe me as compassionate, encouraging, attentive, and patient. I live with chronic low vision and chronic pain, so clients enjoy the shared and often bittersweet experience. I understand the challenges of living with chronic illnes

LGBTQIA, gender, & sexuality topics - Exploring topics of sexuality, gender, and identity; coping with discrimination and oppression; navigating relationship, family, and cultural challenges
Trauma - Coping and healing after threatening or scary events, such as witnessing accidents or experiencing sexual, verbal, emotional, or physical abuse
