Kaylee is a licensed mental health counselor and registered dance/movement therapist. She has many years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric populations. She has worked with clients aging from 6 months to 104 years old in environments such as; early childhood centers, nursing homes, inpatient/outpatient psychiatric facilities, and public schools.
Kaylee provides trauma-informed, client-centered care using a combination of therapeutic approaches. She specializes in dance/movement therapy and other expressive art therapies with clients of all ages and abilities. She has completed training for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), as well as training to practice as a reiki master. She often uses play therapy with younger clients to provide developmentally appropriate support. She has a strong educational and professional background in human development, particularly stages of development from infancy to early childhood.
Kaylee believes that therapeutic interventions should be just as unique as the people engaging in them. Because of this, Kaylee places great value on building rapport and collaborating with the client throughout the therapeutic process. The use of humor and creativity are hallmarks of Kaylee’s therapeutic practice. She specializes in increasing self-esteem, particularly with clients with neurodivergence.
