Keeley Ray is a Licensed Professional Counselor located in Springtown, TX. Keeley helps individuals who struggle with their anxiety, which leaves them feeling constantly worried. These individuals tend to worry about how others perceive them, often ruminating for extended amounts of time about what they said or how a situation played out. They might also feel overwhelmingly sad or hopeless, suffering from depression. These experiences could be the result of trauma or a toxic relationship from the past, including familial relationships. Keeley helps clients gain a sense of control over their emotions and relationships so they can feel confident about confronting challenges.
Keeley teaches clients how to be more assertive through assertiveness training. Clients learn how to set boundaries for themselves and others, which are helpful to maintain their wellbeing, especially in the face of toxic relationships. Keeley has training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), an evidence-based therapy modality that teaches tangible skills for stress tolerance and coping with difficult emotions. Clients also learn how to connect with others in healthy ways. Keeley also practices Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) so that clients can learn how to identify the negative thought patterns that hold them back. She does this with a trauma-informed style that creates a safe, secure atmosphere in each session. Clients can talk openly about how they feel and their past experiences, processing through trauma and reflecting on their own resilience.
Keeley earned a Master’s degree from Lamar University. She recognizes that reaching out for help takes bravery and is grateful for each one of her clients that decide to put their mental health above other priorities. She supports clients every step of their mental health journey so they know that they aren’t alone.
