Kilondra Davis is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a National Certified Counselor in Florida. She is passionate about helping individuals who have experienced Complex Trauma learn how to overcome the impact the trauma & abuse has on them. The majority of Kilondra's clients includes those who have experiences of childhood trauma, sexual abuse/assault, & abusive/toxic relationships. As a result of these traumatic experiences, many of her clients often experience common struggles of depression, low self-worth, poor boundaries, self-blame, people pleasing, feeling not good enough, suicide ideation, & relationship challenges.
Kilondra's approach is trauma informed and collaborative, she helps clients process the challenging moments, learn techniques & strategies to release & manage triggers, memories, somatic energy, harmful thought patterns, and emotions connected to the trauma. Kilondra's goal is to create a space where clients feel comfortable, heard, validated, & safe to share their experiences.
When a client first comes in, Kilondra will work diligently to learn about the client's life perspective, challenges, strengths, and their desired outcome for therapy. Kilondra received her M.A in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Florida Gulf Coast University. She has gained experience through many different internships, private practices, and nonprofit organizations which has enabled her to work with a wide range of challenges and people.
