Professional statement

Kyra Angileri, LCSW is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in California with a deeply personal and compassionate approach to therapy. Kyra came to this work having first experienced the transformative power of therapy herself, and she entered the profession with a singular purpose: to help others find their way back to a sense of wholeness, aliveness, and connection to self.

Kyra draws from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Trauma-Informed Care, and Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy to create a space where clients can gently explore attachment wounds, rewrite inner narratives that no longer serve them, and turn pain into something meaningful. She brings an eclectic, person-centered approach to her work with individuals and groups navigating depression, anxiety, substance use, and trauma.

Kyra has a particular gift for working with clients who understand their emotions intellectually but feel disconnected from them in the body — those who can name a feeling but struggle to sense or trust it. Together with her clients, she works to locate and rebuild that inner trust, so feelings can be fully experienced rather than only thought through.

Working with Kyra through Wellqor is a straightforward and supportive process. To get started, simply fill out the Get Started form on the Wellqor website. From there, a Patient Liaison will reach out to confirm that Kyra is the right therapist for you and to get you scheduled for your first session. Wellqor's team is there every step of the way to make sure the fit feels right before you begin.

Message to clients

If you're reading this, something in you is already reaching toward change, and I want you to know that takes courage. Whether you're coming in feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply unsure of where to start, you don't have to have it all figured out before we begin. That's what we do together.

I want you to know that our work will move at your pace. There is no pressure to go somewhere before you're ready, and there is no version of you that is too much or not enough for this space. My hope is that over time, you begin to feel more at home in yourself, more trusting of your emotions, and more connected to the life you actually want to be living.

Therapy has taught me that growth is always possible, even when it doesn't feel that way. I'll be here as a steady, genuine presence alongside you, and I can't wait to see what opens up for you once the weight starts to lift.
