Professional statement

I have experience working with an array of cultures, populations and genders, including those facing depression, anxiety and those struggling to change their patterns of behavior. Sometimes we can get frustrated when we are trying to break or form certain habits. And this makes sense when fear, judgement or shame get in the way. I help people identify and change what’s not working in their life.

My clients tend to experience a lot of overthinking and worry, feeling uneasy throughout the day, and struggles with time management; they also experience sadness and difficulty with daily routines. Often times we’re working on gaining clarity, and perspective shifting their lens, working towards changing behavior, and having a different emotional responses.

Together, we can asses your needs and from there I integrate different approaches. I incorporate CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and strengths-based approaches. Change can be difficult and I enjoy helping people find the motivation they need to make positive behavior changes in their life!
