Laura Alvarado is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing psychotherapy to individuals and couples in the Greater Boston area.

Laura works with a diverse population of clients experiencing a variety of challenges. Many of Laura’s clients feel overwhelmed with the anxiety that comes from navigating life transitions, such as college graduation, career changes, new relationships and becoming a parent for the first time.

Laura’s approach is collaborative, respectful and strengths-based. She draws from a variety of therapeutic modalities, tailoring sessions to meet a client’s unique needs. Using curiosity and compassion to create a safe, supportive and nonjudgmental space, Laura assists clients in gaining insight into the underlying issues that are causing their current symptoms. She helps clients identify personal strengths and resources that can help facilitate the change they desire.

Laura is currently providing remote sessions over phone or video. She looks forward to hearing from you and learning more about how she can best support you.
