Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate, LMHCALauren Qualls works with adults, adolescents age 18+ and couples to provide individual, marital, pre-marital and couples’ counseling. Her specialty is young adults, ages 18-26. Lauren has helped people of all ages tackle issues relating to anxiety, life transitions, family issues, relationship struggles, depression and more. She utilizes evidence-based practices such as: person-centered, relational, CBT, ACT and solution-focused. However, Lauren recognizes each person or couple are unique and tailors her process to work for you. She believes in the collaborative process of therapy, where client and therapist work together to find the best way to create new, healthy behaviors and mindsets.
Lauren received her Master's in Clinical mental health counseling in 2020 and has worked in group practices and in a collegiate mental health center. Lauren has a Gottman Level 1 Certification and has done continuing education in the areas of anxiety, effects of nutrition on mental health and ACT, to name a few.
Lauren is available for telehealth sessions only anywhere in the state of Washington.

Self-esteem - Cultivating self-compassion, assertiveness, and confidence; developing ways to reduce suffering, anxiety, social withdrawal, and self-neglect
