Professional statement

Linnea is a psychotherapist who works with individuals and couples through all of life’s transitions, including fertility, maternity, postpartum, menopause, and the moments in between. She provides a supportive space to process grief, anxiety, and uncertainty with compassion and hope. In addition to individual therapy, Linnea offers couples counseling to help partners strengthen their relationships as they navigate reproductive challenges and parenting. She supports couples in improving communication, deepening emotional connection, and managing stress together.

Drawing from Psychodynamic Therapy, Linnea helps clients uncover patterns and emotions that shape their experiences. In working with individuals, couples, and families, she focuses on building resilience, improving communication, and navigating life’s challenges with greater self-awareness and confidence.

Message to clients

I've received training at the Seleni Institute in perinatal mental health and the Gottman Institute in couples therapy. This enhances my psychodynamic approach, helping individuals navigate reproductive challenges and supporting couples in strengthening communication and connection. I offer in-person therapy in a private, peaceful office in Westport, CT, by the Saugatuck River, providing a space for growth and healing. Virtual therapy is also available, offering flexibility for those who prefer or need to meet from the comfort of their home.
