Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate, LMFTAHi, I am Luree Benjamin and welcome. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate offering virtual therapy throughout North Carolina. I specialize in helping those who feel stuck in unhealthy habits. This can include repeating unfulfilling patterns relating to sex, relationships, and love. I offer support to individuals who are going through major life transitions, which can happen at work, in the home, or with loved ones. I provide non-judgmental, compassionate listening to help all clients to reach their mental health and sexual goals.
I use attachment-based therapy practices with my clients, especially those seeking support around sex and relationships. I guide clients on how to reflect on their upbringing and their early relationships to gain insight into current patterns or behaviors that no longer serve them. I also encourage clients to be curious about themselves, their desires, and what brings them joy. Clients learn how to practice self-compassion and to put their own needs as a priority.
I earned my Master of Arts in Family and Marriage Therapy from Pfeiffer University, with extensive training in Sex Therapy through the Council for Relationships Post Graduate Certificate Program.
