Michelle Goldberg is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Needham, Massachusetts and while she primarily works with teens, young adults and adults, she also works with adolescents. Michelle specializes in eating disorders and disordered eating and offers her clients a space to hear themselves think and try to understand what drives their symptoms while encouraging them to self-nurture and discover who they are beyond their weight.
Michelle tailors her style to uniquely meet each individual's needs while also feeling strongly that a somatic or body-centered perspective is critical in the journey of healing. She considers herself and her client a team and focuses on helping clients understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are interconnected, so that they can begin to make targeted change.
Michelle recognizes that asking for help is the first step in taking care of oneself. She recognizes that we often find ourselves using unhealthy behaviors in an effort to cope with everyday life and believes that we all want to do better and feel better in our lives and in our bodies. Michelle believes that we can achieve this through a safe, nonjudgmental, therapeutic connection where her clients can be seen and heard.
Michelle invites you to reach out and and see if the two of you might be a good fit to help you begin or continue your journey towards peace.
