Pamela is a bilingual, New Jersey-based licensed social worker with over 15 years of experience that incorporates an integrative and holistic approach when working with individuals and couples. She specializes in supporting adolescence, adults (18+), and couples through life’s many challenges with compassion and authenticity. She has experience with individuals of all ages presenting mental health symptoms of depression, anxiety, and trauma, and those whom seek relief from co-dependency, bereavement or life transitions. Pamela has also worked with clients representing a wide array of cultural backgrounds.
Her treatment approaches are primarily rooted in evidence-based practices. She often integrates elements of psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), inner child work, strength-based models and internal family systems, as a means to help clients remove inner barriers that often make them feel stuck. For those who may be interested, Pamela can also incorporate a Christian faith-based perspective into her practice, where clients can explore and find healing through spiritual wisdom and therapy.
Together Pamela’s clients can begin to make insightful connections between the past and present to increase self awareness and show up for themselves. Couples and clients can also begin to improve communication skills, increase conflict resolution, and strengthened emotional intimacy. Pamela seeks to meet clients where they are and establish a therapeutic relationship built on acceptance, collaboration, and empathy.
Pamela received her Master’s degree from Fordham University. She is committed to creating a safe place, where clients can feel heard, gain understanding and insight, support meaningful change, and harness their inner power.
