Many of the people who find me are successful on the outside but exhausted on the inside. They may excel professionally, maintain relationships, and appear to have everything together—yet privately struggle with anxiety, depression, difficult relationship patterns, or the lingering effects of childhood trauma.
I believe symptoms rarely exist in isolation. They often represent adaptive responses to experiences that once helped you survive but now keep you feeling disconnected, stuck, or repeating the same painful patterns. Therapy is more than learning coping skills—it's an opportunity to understand the deeper story behind your struggles so meaningful, lasting change becomes possible.
My work is grounded in psychodynamic and attachment-based therapy while integrating practical, evidence-based interventions when they are most helpful. I specialize in complex trauma, relationship dynamics, depression, longstanding emotional patterns, and helping couples rebuild trust, improve communication, and create stronger emotional connections. As a Gottman-trained couples therapist, I also help partners move beyond recurring conflict toward genuine intimacy and understanding.
In addition to my clinical practice, I serve as an adjunct faculty member at Northwestern University, where I teach graduate counseling students, and my clinical writing has been published in Counseling Today, reflecting my commitment to advancing the profession through both practice and education.
