Solomon Berewa is a licensed Therapist in the Atlanta area. He works with individuals, couples and families. Many of Solomon’s clients seek his services to address depression, trauma, relationship conflicts, ADHD, and substance/alcohol-abuse issues. Solomon is particularly passionate about serving adolescents and, members of the LGBTQ+ community. He also has experience in providing services to individuals with bipolar disorder, anxiety, and life transitions.

Solomon is trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing technique and cognitive behavior mindfulness. He examines the thought patterns, the core beliefs, and the behaviors of his clients to assist them with developing healthier behaviors. He also uses these techniques to engage his clients , and to assist them with finding ways to focus on the underlying issues that resulted in them seeking them seeking therapy. In sessions, Solomon focuses on using relaxation and mindfulness exercises to teach his clients techniques to enable them to cope with difficult circumstances. This approach allows his clients to address the underlying issues that resulted in them their seeking therapy.

Solomon's style is warm, supportive, and goal- directed. When clients first start therapy, he works diligently to understand the circumstances that contributed to the client seeking therapy.

Solomon received his MSC from Fort Valley State University. He has worked as a licensed clinician in inpatient and outpatient environments, serving children, adolescents, families, couples, minorities, and individuals in the LGBTQ+ community. Outside of private practice, I enjoy listening to music and engaging in outdoor activities. Solomon offers both in-person at his office in Conyers and Telehealth sessions.


Message to clients

Solomon recognizes that it may be difficult for individuals faced with problems or difficult circumstances to seek therapy. He creates an environment to develop rapport and engage his clients in therapy to motivate them to work towards their goals in therapy. In sessions, Solomon creates an environment using effective evidenced based techniques to assist his clients meet their goals. He uses cognitive behavior therapy, motivational interview techniques, mindfulness and other evidenced based practices to assist his clients with achieving their goals in therapy.
