Message to clients

My approach to mental health involves asking, How well can this person love and work? How flexible is this person in coping with difficulty? What is the nature of this person's suffering? I try to address all three areas with compassion, empathy, and good humor. With 25 years of experience working with a variety of people, I find the quality of the therapeutic relationship is often the best predictor of a therapy where a person feels, heard, affirmed, challenged, and helped to heal and grow.
