Grief Support Group

Description

We use a group therapy style in which members can share as much or as little about their loss as they would like, with the primary goal being for members to relate to others regarding their grief journey in order to positively move forward in their personal grief process.

The leader of the group is familiar with grief and grief work and will facilitate conversation among members in a positively therapeutic way. Grief-related exercises may be done in group sessions in order to make grief more tangible and understandable, which can make the grief process much easier to approach. Anyone who is struggling with grief, whether it is a recent loss or a past loss is welcome to join this group.

Members will have the opportunity to have a free 5-10 minute consultation with the group leader in order to share their goals for group therapy, concerns, and any questions they may have about the group."
