It was almost a decade ago, when my spiritual awakening began, faced with health challenges, major life transitions, healing some deep trauma and the quest for alternative healing. In this surrender, I found the power of vulnerability, the strength found in community, and the beauty of embracing every facet of our existence. It's from these experiences that the Sacred Feminine Synergy was born - a response to our collective yearning for a life that truly makes us feel alive.
But here's what sets Sacred Feminine Synergy apart: it's a space where not having all the answers is okay. Where sitting with questions in the unknown, creates the room for awareness to emerge. It's about feeling alive in the mystery of life, where the most profound truths often find US.

Group Therapist
Katherine Torres Viruet is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Rhode Island. She is Bilingual and offers therapy to children, adults and families. Katherine specializes in early child development, behavioral issues, anxiety, depression, chronic stress, burnout, trauma, parenting barriers, life transitions and more.
Katherine has extensive experience supporting clients with complex histories and psychosocial stressors and works at each client's pace to build trust and promote healing. Katherine takes a trauma-informed lens to treatment, utilizing Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to fully embrace client’s entire life and experiences. Katherine also combines mindfulness practices, breathwork and meditation to help clients gain greater self-awareness and slowly turn inward. Katherine offers a safe space to heal and allows clients to be authentic and truthful about their experiences.
Katherine received an MSW from Boston University and has worked with clients throughout the lifespan in various settings, including community health centers, department of mental health and provides early childhood mental health consultation to family child care providers.
Katherine is passionate about connecting with individuals and families in her practice and looks forward to building a therapeutic alliance. Katherine is available to support and empower you in your own healing journey.
