Reclaiming Our Wellness is an 8-week therapy group designed for mothers experiencing stress, overwhelm, anxiety, burnout, or challenges adjusting to the demands of motherhood. This group provides a supportive space to connect with other mothers who understand the unique pressures of raising children while balancing personal, family, and professional responsibilities. Together, we will explore evidence-based coping strategies, emotional wellness tools, mindfulness practices, and meaningful discussions to help participants feel more grounded, supported, and connected to themselves.
Participants can expect a blend of therapeutic education, guided reflection, skill-building exercises, and supportive group discussion. Topics may include managing stress and anxiety, setting healthy boundaries, reducing guilt, navigating identity shifts in motherhood, strengthening self-compassion, and developing sustainable wellness practices. The goal is to leave each session with practical tools that can be applied immediately in daily life, while also benefiting from the support and shared experiences of other mothers.
This group is appropriate for mothers who are experiencing mild to moderate symptoms of anxiety, stress, overwhelm, or adjustment challenges and who are able to participate safely in a group setting. An intake screening is required prior to enrollment to ensure the group is a good fit and to review goals, expectations, and insurance eligibility. The group is facilitated by a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in maternal mental health, pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, and women's emotional wellness. Drawing from years of clinical experience supporting mothers through life's most vulnerable transitions, the group integrates evidence-based therapy with a holistic focus on wellness, connection, and healing.

Our approach is trauma-informed and integrates evidence-based therapy with nervous system regulation and mind-body awareness. We also understand the impact motherhood has on identity and emotional wellbeing, including difficult or traumatic birth experiences. You don’t have to navigate this transition alone.
