It is important to find the therapist that feels like the right fit. We come with different personalities, ideas and tools about how to be helpful. My passion for working as a counselor is to help you live life from your solid and centered self.
As I hear your story, we identify your gifts/resources, find obstacles that keep you stuck and work together to release them. Sometimes that means being focused on your outer world and environment. Other times, it means turning inward to discover and let go whatever is keeping you blocked.
I believe life is meant to be experienced, enjoyed and have purpose. You are a unique individual and deserve an approach that is customized to fit your needs (no one-size-fits all). We are all much more than any label or diagnosis. Guiding me in my work as a counselor is a passion for helping people to find their voice, to feel more awake, alive and empowered.

Have you been feeling frustrated with the direction of your life, unsatisfied in your personal relationships, or inexplicably angry? Do you feel like you put everyone else’s needs before your own and struggle to find time for yourself? You’ve tried all the usual things – talking to friends/family, exercising, maybe even therapy – but nothing seems to work.

If this sounds like you, I’d love to talk. My passion is helping people recover from traumatic events, improve their moods and self-esteem, and develop lives they love.

Many times I hear from clients that their experience in therapy was just checking in about their week, and it left them feeling like they weren't making a lot of progress. My approach is to help you identify your needs, apply research-backed treatments, and make sure to regularly assess whether we are on track and that you're meeting your goals.

Adding another appointment to your schedule might sound overwhelming; however, my clients often tell me how much they get out of having one hour a week dedicated completely to them.

If you feel like any of this applies to you, I do hope you reach out – I would love to work with you.

Life brings stress and challenge. My focus is on holistic well-being through helping individuals restore balance in their lives. I combine over 20 years of experience in a variety of social service settings with a firm belief that every human being has infinite potential, though sometimes undiscovered. Identifying strengths and building upon them to create a foundation that sustains the challenges life offers is my focus.

I practice the philosophy is self-acceptance. My core belief is that we are all unique and talented in numerous ways. Therefore, we must follow our own path in life. You may doubt yourself sometimes because your path does not meet society’s expectations. But, there is only one YOU in this gigantic universe that no one can replace.

I am the co-founder of New England Wellness Collaborative (NEWC). I work with four other clinicians to provide individuals an opportunity to focus on their mental and physical wellness. Improving your quality of life starts with looking at your overall wellness. Life will start to change when you change the lens you use to view your problems. Navigating through the process of change can be difficult when doing so alone. We will develop a partnership and use an array of therapeutic tools that fit your needs. I have extensive training working with individuals with anxiety, weight management issues and complex trauma.
I also coach individuals utilizing Mindful Emotional Eating. A local kickboxing gym and I have joined forces to offer a 16-week mental and physical wellness program which most insurances will cover. This includes a minimum of 3 fitness classes per week, weekly weigh ins, meal plans and 2 mental health sessions a month with myself or one of our licensed therapists who specialize in weight management.
Each participant will gain concrete skills to address binge eating, mindless emotional eating, craving control and much more!
In treatment we will discover your barriers and develop a road nap that will lead you to attaining your goals!

It is a wonderful time to be a therapist. We have many powerful tools that help create enduring positive change and quicken that process.
As a clinical psychologist, healer, trainer, and consultant. I help people restore a wholesome relationship between their cerebral intelligence and their natural intelligence. I teach people that problems are, almost always, a path to greater vitality, freedom and enduring peace.
I help individuals, groups and organizations enjoy an ever deeper felt connection with the spiritual dimension of their lives and their communities. I teach them how to seamlessly fold transformative spiritual practices (within and beyond their particular religious tradition) into the fabric of their professional and private lives.
Central to my healing practice is a model of therapy called Internal Family Systems (IFS) and I am a certified IFS therapist. Among the other tools in my healing toolkit are Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), One Eye Brain Integration, Brainspotting, and a relational mindfulness practice that I have been developing over the past 15 years, Structured Self-Presence© (SSP).
My practice, ways of thinking and doing, are deeply informed by the perennial wisdom of the world’s wisdom traditions as well as current behavioral and brain research.
In addition to a psychologist, I am a husband and father. I play the saxophone, clarinet, a little piano and less djembe. I love sing alongs and playing music with my family and friends.
