The therapists at Arcus specialize in working with a variety of clients, including members of the LGBTQ and Latinx communities, as well as treating a variety of issues including poor self-esteem, depression, anxiety, and trauma. They believe obtaining good mental health is not just treating problems but also through identifying and building upon your strengths.
Arcus Behavioral Health & Wellness is unlike most practices. Their goal is not to help you be less miserable or decrease pathology; instead they want to help you reach new levels of happiness and interpersonal well-being.
While most of their providers can accept the same insurance plans of BlueCross/BlueShield PPO, UnitedHealthcare PPO, some providers are able to accept some additional plans, such as Aetna. Anxiety - Coping with excessive worry, nervousness, or stress; intense discomfort in social settings (social anxiety); sudden and intense feelings of panic (panic disorder)
Trauma - Coping and healing after threatening or scary events, such as witnessing accidents or experiencing sexual, verbal, emotional, or physical abuse
