Practice Information

At Balancing Life & Kids, Inc., we focus on providing trauma-informed wellness. For us, this means understanding the individual as a whole as they are dealing with their stressors, and figuring out what methods apply to that individual to guide them along in their healing journey.

Our therapists are masters-level + clinicians or clinically certified in trauma-informed care. We incorporate body movement into all of our in-person sessions and provide takeaway tasks for each individual to help them work on their healing outside of their sessions. We offer both virtual and telephonic sessions, making it convenient for each person.

What makes Balancing Life & Kids stand out from other therapy practices is that we offer trauma-informed practices, combined with body movement modalities, and non-traditional approaches to the healing practices that each person needs. Whether you are looking for care for a non-monogamous relationship, spirituality with tarot cards/reading, Christian-based practices, or anything else, you will be able to find that in our practice. Additionally, our staff is BIPOC, creating a safe and inviting experience for women of color to find the care that they need.
