In our practice, we provide a special combination of talk therapy, experiential exercises, mindfulness practices, and body-oriented or somatic processing & skill-building. We are grounded, real, hopeful & astute. We pride ourselves on maintaining a keen therapeutic presence, being constantly curious about you & your needs, and be active in your care. We aim to meet you where you're at. We seek to address you as a whole person - mind, body & spirit.
What are your practice's specialties?
Our practice is made of 3 diverse clinicians with an array of specialties to serve your needs!
Suzanne has over 17 years of experience and as such, she integrates a mixture of approaches to her therapeutic practice. She has an educational background in psychodynamic & transpersonal approaches, while combining existentialism, somatic exploration & experiential exercises, CBT/ACT, imagery, parts work, as well as creative expression and mindfulness techniques.
Talia has nearly a decade of experience helping identify and explore the root cause of emotional challenges while also excavating your natural resiliency. She uses a unique blend of dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), somatic therapy, expressive arts and mindfulness approaches.
Caitlin is passionate about answering, "Who are you & how can I help you become just that?" She helps folks with stress management, identity development and imposter syndrome, self-esteem, perfectionism, and relationships through identity development, tools & techniques, and CBT exercises.
How does payment work at your practice?
Because each of our clinicians has different education, expertise and years of experience, our rates vary per clinician. See below for a breakdown of fees per clinician & service type.
Our fees range from $145 - $200 for Individual Therapy Sessions with fees from $195 - $235 for Couples & Family Therapy.
Suzanne Adams, PhD is an in-network provider with Aetna health insurance in California.
Upon receiving payment from you, we provide you with a superbill (aka: Invoice) that can be submitted to your insurance company to receive a reimbursement for a percentage of the cost of services as an out-of-network provider. For many people, this could cover up to 80% of the cost of services listed above.
You may also use your FSA or HSA cards to pay for services.
Why should I choose your practice?
As a team, our values are reflected in our commitment to providing you the best care possible.
Suzanne believes therapy is transformational, not just during times of need but also during times of joy. Suzanne seeks a deep understanding of who you are, what ails and what heals you.
For Talia, therapy is a space to support you in unearthing their inherent wisdom and uniquely resilient strengths—often by focusing on the question, “What is deeply wise and right in you?” instead of “What is wrong with you?” She seeks to dismantle the internalization of oppressive systems to access our natural resiliency and most authentic selves.
Caitlin believes you know what your needs are. She will work in partnership with you to help you clarify, identify, and fulfill them. No two people have the same story; it is her privilege to be open, curious and non-judgmental as she learns yours.
