Practice Information

Eileen O'Neil, LCSW PMH-C is the owner of Renew Therapy. She uses her own lived experience as a mother of three, along with her Perinatal Mental Health Certification, to help those struggling to adjust to life postpartum. She also works with many adults dealing with major life changes such as transition from college to adulthood, a career change, dating, parenting struggles, grief & loss, phase of life transitions, aging and generalized anxiety. She uses her collective professional experiences, expertise in a variety of evidence-based therapy interventions & her authentic self to provide a modern, relatable approach to therapy.

She is currently undergoing training in EMDR, an evidenced based trauma treatment. Eileen is excited to bring these enhanced skills to her clients and help them re-process events from their past that may be holding them back from meeting their therapy goals. She will soon be an EMDR certified clinician and hopes to help make EMDR more accessible to those in the area!

What services does your practice offer?

Renew Therapy offers a mix of in-person and virtual therapy sessions for Illinois residents of all ages! We offer therapy to individuals with a variety of needs.

Are you a new mom? Bring your baby! I strongly believe lack of childcare should NOT be a reason to not get the help you deserve!

How does payment work at your practice?

We are in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield. If you do not have this insurance, our fees range from $125-$150 depending on the provider and service offered. We are happy to provide documentation for you to submit claims on your own behalf, if we are not in-network with your specific insurance company.

If you are interested in EMDR extended session (90 minutes) these are not covered by insurance companies, and are self-pay only.

What are your practice's specialties?

Eileen is passionate about strengthening families, helping new moms find joy in motherhood, and supporting parents. She is also excited to be able to bring EMDR into her work as a therapist and provide this evidence-based therapy to help those who have suffered any sort of trauma.

Why should I choose your practice?

We value helping people find hope, make connections between the past and the present as well as learn about themselves. We truly enjoy listening to others and providing the empathy we all deserve. It is important to us that people to have access to therapists who are authentic & who understand a more modern take on therapy. Staying up to date and current on new therapy modalities, trainings and changes to our field we feel we can provide the best approach or mix of approaches tailored to your unique needs! It is not a one size fits all and we work WITH you to help make the changes you desire!
