Self Design was born out of a desire to help people who feel lost, find themselves again. Our mission is to help you be your authentic self on your own and in relationships. Life’s challenges often cause us to disconnect from who we are and what is important to us. Find yourself. Be yourself. Be who you want to be.
Our focus is self-awareness and self-discovery, which leads to improved self-esteem and better judgment about what decisions are right for you. It is difficult to figure out next steps in life. Psychotherapy with a non-judgmental, down to earth therapist can help.
The clinicians at Self Design specialize in a variety of areas including: Relationship issues, eating disorders, trauma, depression and anxiety. Each of them has extensive experience working with clients struggling with eating disorders and have connections to other providers like dietitians, psychiatrists and medical doctors.
They have a particular interest in working with adults going through a difficult life transition such as adjusting to college, entering the job market, becoming a parent or heading into midlife as well as those who find themselves having a difficult time maintaining relationships.
The clinicians at Self Design are committed to helping you be the person you want to be. You will learn about your individual obstacles that get in the way of your growth. Then, they will help you navigate those obstacles so you can connect to your authentic self.
Self Design is in-network with BCBS PPO, Blue Choice, United Healthcare, and the Northwestern University Aetna Student Insurance.
If you do not have one of these insurances, their fee range is $90 to $160 that is determined on a case-by-case basis. If they are out-of-network with your insurance, they will provide you a receipt for your weekly payment that you can give to your insurance for reimbursement.
Both our downtown Chicago and Evanston locations are conveniently located near public transportation and parking.
