Practice Information

Solace Mental Health and Wellness is a small group practice of therapists committed to providing compassionate, dynamic and heart-centered trauma therapy to folks experiencing a wide range of presenting issues. Our therapists value deeply accompanying our clients through the processing of trauma, grief, and pain, and are committed to helping clients find their way back to a sense of wholeness, vitality, and connection to themselves and the broader world. We believe that trauma creates a sense of unbearable aloneness, and our mission is to provide all of our clients with the deepest sense of safety, connection, and care as they move through painful experiences toward growth and healing. We practice from body-based and experiential models of care including AEDP, EMDR, and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and provide culturally attuned and responsive care.

FAQS

What services does your practice offer?

Solace Mental Health and Wellness provides in-person and online therapy sessions to individuals in the Twin Cities metro area and greater Minnesota.

What are your practice's specialties?

The therapists at Solace Mental Health and Wellness specialize in a variety of areas, including anxiety, depression, PTSD/C-PTSD, grief, parenting challenges, and stress management. We are particularly interested in working with clients who are interested in connecting more deeply with themselves by learning to slow down and connect the words of their experiences to the deeper feelings, images, and sensations our bodies offer when we listen.

Why should I choose your practice?

The therapists at Solace are passionate about and committed to lifelong learning, and are trained in a variety of body-based approaches. While talk therapy is part of our practice, we believe that we can offer deeper healing and a more rich experience of connection to Self by helping our clients learn to slow down and connect beneath the words to the heart, body, and inner knowing.

How does payment work at your practice?

Payment is due at the time of service. Solace Women’s Mental Health and Wellness accepts cash, checks, credit cards and Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flex Spending Account (FSA) cards. We currently do not bill insurance but can provide you with the necessary paperwork to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. We encourage you to contact your insurance company and ask if they cover all or any portion of mental health services from a licensed out-of-network provider.
