Dr. Katherine "Kat" Dion (she/her/hers) is a doctoral-level, board certified psychiatric nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC), offering medication consultations and medication management. Depression, Anxiety, and ADHD are the most common issues she helps people with, though by no means the only ones.
Kat values taking a collaborative approach with clients and with other clinicians involved in a client's case . She is the staff prescriber at Kendall Psychological Associates and many of her clients also work with therapist there.
Prior to working at Kendall Psychological Associates, Kat worked with veterans and in a college mental health counseling center. She obtained her Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing (PhD) from Endicott College and her M.S from Boston College.
Kat realizes how big of a step it can be to consider taking psychiatric medications. She prioritizes helping the patient to feel comfortable and fully informed. She helps provide an inclusive and culturally sensitive environment to work together towards your goals. At this time she is taking referrals for adults and appointments are being held virtually.
