Professional statement

I’m an ANCC board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with ten years of practice as an RN and NP. I received my Bachelor's and Master of Science in Nursing degrees from Columbia University.

I have experience working in medication management, Psychodynamic Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, psychiatric, psychotic, and personality disorders, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). I specialize in young adults and the adult population.

My approach is warm, empathetic, patient, thorough, and nonjudgmental. I love creating a safe environment where clients feel heard and cared for. I strive to build strong therapeutic alliances and prioritize education and empowerment. I’m passionate about social policy and providing comprehensive treatment using the biopsychosocial model as a foundation.
